Veritas Cluster Server forms a critical part of your Highly Available environment; failing applications from server to server in the event of a problem, and maintaining application availability through almost any challenge presented to it. Sadly that very application availability also proves to be one of it's biggest problems. How can a server fault be quickly corrected if no-one notices the fault?
Our Veritas Cluster Server Smart Plug-in (SPI) does just that. It monitors the status of all resources in a cluster and alerts administrators when problems are found. We also monitor heartbeats, daemons and standby resources 24x7 to ensure failovers will be successful if they do occur.
Key areas of Veritas Cluster Server that are monitored include:
- Servers
- Agents
- Daemons
- Systems and heartbeats including LLTs and GABs
- Logs
- Service groups and Group Systems
- Resources and Resource Systems
