Pilot-Print

Using Pilot-Print, users can fully control print requests either before, during or even after printing has occurred. Pilot-Print provides facilities for non technical users to stop, start or reprint requests - tasks that without Pilot-Print require significant Unix knowledge and the use of cryptic Unix commands.
Pilot-Print features include:
- User friendly screens for users and administrators to monitor and manage printer activity.
- Provides compatibility with UNIX lp command so that applications do not need to be changed to operate with Pilot-Print.
- Pilot-Print BSD Interface option allows Pilot-Print to act as BSD printer server and to integrate with remote BSD printer servers and network printers.
- Many user features, such as preview, banners, re-print, multiple copies, selected pages.
- Administrator features including queue management, load balancing, printer-specific features, interface scripts, priority control, security.
- Comprehensive functions for the control and configuration of printers are provided.
- Pilot-Print Network Extension option provides a seamless printing environment across multiple servers.
